The following guidelines offer some quick answers to the most common design questions people ask us regarding supplying artwork. If this sounds impossibly complicated, remember PowerPrint offers a full in-house design service.

Please supply artwork one-up. If you are supplying multiple business cards please send individual PDF pages where possible.
Information about pictures
Photographs and images used should ideally be 300dpi resolution. Please be aware that images downloaded from the internet may appear sharp on screen but be small and low resolution and consequently will print with a ‘fuzzy’ appearance.
Some technical stuff about colour profiles
Please supply artwork in CMYK. Digital presses convert RGB images to CMYK when printing, this may affect colour reproduction and we would recommend seeing a paper proof. For single colour litho printing, please supply pantone reference as applicable.

Paper Sizes
Business cards; 85 x 55mm. Standard size cards, other sizes are available.
DL 98 x 297mm. One-third A4, compliment slips. Envelopes.
A6 105 x 148mm. Includes postcards, correspondence cards, change of address cards, birth announcements & invitations.
A5 148 x 210mm. Includes giant postcards, flyers, invitations, personal stationery.
A4 210 x 297mm. Letterheads, leaflets, booklets.
A3 297 x 420mm. Brochures printed and folded to A4.
A2 420 x 594mm. Posters
A1 594 x 841mm. Posters
A0 841 x 1189mm. Posters
